We have twenty–five permanent cutting rooms onsite and ten remote systems. All have the latest Media Composer software, all are connected to shared avid storage and all in house rooms have windows and most come with assistants. These form the backbone of the facility and when their work is done, our award–winning team of colourists and online editors will add the polish and sparkle to your production. We colour with DaVinci and we online with Flame or Resolve, we can handle HD, 2k or 4k and can deliver HDR. All of this happens seamlessly, testament to the fact that we have invested as much behind the walls as we have in front of them – but that is the business we’re in!
Supporting all aspects of the editorial team is a crew of dedicated, committed and slightly obsessive individuals who we call transcoders or media managers. They run a 24/7 operation, processing all the rushes overnight, where the talk is of codecs and colour space and LUTs and LTOs – a foreign language to most but this team is the bedrock of Yellowmoon.
The picture department is without doubt the most experienced team around. They have processed, cut, finished and delivered some of the most successful series to come out of Northern Ireland.
